Birthday Ride... or Who Has Time for the Superbowl?

Our little groundhog baby is into double digits this year! It finally warmed up here today. So, instead of having a "birthday party" she took two good friends and went for a trail ride in the Garden of the Gods. Mom went along to supervise, and they had a blast! Meanwhile, I took brother off to shop for a last minute gift he wanted to give her.

She has been celebrating all weekend, though. First with a dinner with the family, includng grandpa Sam, on her actual birthday, then with a special dinner out at a "fancy" restaurant with mom & dad. And, to top it all off, the fun today! Then, to end the celebrating, we are taking the cousins to celebrate with a dinner at Red Robin! Who has time for the superbowl? Besides, they'll just do it again next year, and it probably still won't be the one team that counts!
